it was as soon as i turned the key i knew I'd made the right decision, i could feel the low rumble of the B16b through my seat.....awesome...
The drive home wasn't fun....rain, motorway, spray, busy....etc but got back safe....lad jumped in and went for a blip....hit vtec for the first time and was astounded by the drive from this little 1.6 engine....totally incredible :))
Back at home safely on the drive

Looks great :) just how I felt when I got behind the wheel of mine for the first time!

Very nice pictures & congrats on your purchase! Do you plan on getting an induction kit?
I would recommend it (hear that aggressive vtec crossover!!) :troll:

Excellent news! Great performance considering the engine size aye!

Are you Devon based?

I'm about 10 minutes from TGT.

Based in Somerset....about 1hr 20 from TGT
Kriswitch posted above is from Devon and his landed last Fri!
Us Southwest guys should hook up at the next Japfest!

Thanks mate :nice: great little 'drivers' drive and that was exactly what I was after!

Beautiful! Will you be driving it much through winter?
Thanks bud! The plan was not to, however 3mnth engine and gearbox warranty means i need to use it a bit......its been fully Dinitrol undersealed but i hate the thought of salt getting at it!:( so as soon as the council start throwing it around she'll probably be parked up.
The EK4 is my lads.....in his owns words 'they feel completely different'......

Nothing like a clean, original looking, standard (ish) B16B EK9! Lovely car sir.

Clothes peg from a multiple hanger
Folding fishing reel handle!

Had the front bumper off in the week to get HIDs working, turns out the control box had come away from connecter block....easy fix :nice:
Hoping the rear light rubber gaskets turn up today and will fit those to stop water in lights and a little getting into boot

Need to get the small plastic pads that the boot rubber stops butt up against when boot is closed.....any ideas anyone?

Cheers
