K Swap - The Costs

That is not a complete list, parts missing and some other items are optional, depending on how you want to do things.

What parts then.. and which are optional lol as you need all of those, unless your planning on making your own by hand?

I did not mean the parts listed above were optional. I will put my parts list up later with other parts options.

You need more than just the subframe for starters: DC2 Forks/LCA/Subframe/Rack + the associated bolts from the donor car as not all of your EK bolts will be suitable.

Detour:
Ive found, its lower cost to buy a hatch with the conversion already done.
$7-9k are the going rates that ive found so far. eg k20 a buddy picked up was 8k, and it is a very fast hatch.

The packages we have on our website are for different options. We have the starter package, fuel/drivetrain/cooling packages because there is so many different options out there.

Other than those packages, you will need a Intake and whatever you decide to with your AC/PS.

You will need the motor, trans, (since your in the UK) a USDM K20 ecu/engine&charge harness/O2 sensor.

If you are in a EK and want the EK2 mounts, you will need the EG/DC subframe with the 6 large bolts, LCA's and steering rack as well.

If you need any more info on the K-swap in your chassis shoot me an email and I can further explain the process or you can order the install DVD which is in a EK chassis with a EG subframe...

^^^ THIS. I mean you can piece together a swap using a mix of new parts and used rsx parts for less than 3700 pounds if you're on a budget but in the end you're better off buying a whole k-swapped car that's already built, tuned, and ready to drive. On the other side, half the fun is building it.
