ek9 brake upgrade kits

What about legend or nsx twinpot callipers they are good

Legend/ATR calipers are 3.91sq.in to the EK9s 3.94sq.in, the NSX calipers are even smaller at 3.52sq.in.

So no quantifiable performance gain with 282mm discs, but a lot of extra weight. Not worth it IMO.

Cheaper. :)
They're 4 pots. The Wilwoods have larger pistons so they have a larger area pushing on the pads.
I think the Spoons use the same pads as the standard calipers so are slightly larger, but the Wilwoods are around £200 cheaper, and the pads are around 1/2 the price for the same compound.

so they will fit under oem 15" wheels and what are they like on track use.

Another good point.
The weight difference between the standard calipers and carriers and the Wilwoods is a good couple of kg per side.

Just have a look on here for those who've fitted them. Everyone thinks they're brilliant.
I've got a similar setup on my MX5 and it means I dont get fade, I can brake later and harder and get a much better pedal feel

they are amazing, we have a kit on my brotehrs DC2, if i still had my ek9 i'd be buying a set,, we tested teham at teh nurburgring with ferdodo ds2500 pads and tehy were faultless,, Amazing brake kit, and even more amazing for the price!!

Can I run these w 16" SSR GTV02s?
Most of the wilwood kits have templates you can print off to check clearance. I have 4 pot wilwoods fitting with 15" wheels but it all depends on wheel width ,offset etc.

I echo what @Civicfacelift said. Check the templates.

You should be okay with 16" set, but worth checking. I had to get 16" for my jordan as 15" wouldnt fit over my wilwood 4 pots
