I bought from second hand a set of Spoon Sports valve springs they are in mint condition and it was a very good deal but the guy who sold to me lost the information sheet. So my problem is witch one are for inlet and witch one are for exhaust.
So i had a phone for Spoon Sports Europe and they said:

SSE - Good afternoon Spoon Sports europe.

Me – Hello, I’m phoning because I bought a set of valve springs from Spoon and I want to know witch one are for inlet and witch one for exhaust.

SSE – Bigger are inlet and smaller exhaust.

Me – Sorry but I’m not speaking about valves, I said VALVE SPRINGS.

SSE – Wait a sec.
Intake – yellow and exhaust – blue.

Me - Many thanks.

Because I really want to have 100% correct information I’ve mailed Spoon Sports USA and the mail was:

Good morning,

I just bough a set of spoon sports valve springs and I just want to know witch one are for inlet and for exhaust.

Half of them have a blue strip and other half have a yellow strip.

Thanks

Spoon Sports USA reply:

When you opened the box, they indicate for which one: Intake or Exhaust.
I think the Blue is Intake. But check the notation.

At this moment I really don’t have a clue…
For Spoon Sports Europe - Intake – yellow and exhaust – blue.
For Spoon Sports USA – Intake blue and exhaust – yellow.

Any one here knows what is the correct position?

let fate decide, flip a coin, heads is blue & tails is yellow, we're deciding which color is the intake.

either way you're screwed. LOL

This is because spoon just licences its name to be used on alot of products! :p

Like lumen EK4 says if theyre similar to factory setup then the exhaust side will be taller!

Another way to tell is with a valve-spring pressure tester, the ones with the higher spring-rate are for retrating the bigger valves (i.e. intake)

Im curious though, does anyone know te bind-height of the spoon spring sets?
