so I have a 5 speed usdm/Canadian non VTEC/non type r 2000 civic DX hatch. I’m making a replica ek9 but I need to know if a type r ek9 steering wheel will actually fit if I go to swap the wheel. Thank you

pretty sure the splines are all the same on ek chassis, so should be fine

I mean EP, S2K, etc all fit into an EK/EJ with no issues so cant see why the ek9 wouldnt fit to yours.

Admittedly I have no knowledge of the USDM spec cars though

Thx I’ll keep you posted because I just got the wheel in the mail

leave the nut on a couple threads before pulling the wheel off, you can thank me later :))
Yessir I did so, also it was a direct plug and play, everything fit straight up and plugged in, horn works and airbag just plugs in

Retrimmed :wtf:
Yea, I keep finding rewrapped ek9 type r wheels going for $500 up to $1000 or more but I got this one for 300 and it’s nicer looking then a lot of rewrapped ones I keep seeing

Good score. I'm sure you can get it redone down the line.
