Waterless coolant

Anyone ever used waterless coolant in there ek9? Or even in any other engine for that matter.

Thinking of replacing my coolant with it next time I do a service

If you google this there are numerous threads on pistonheads about it.

Personally I would just stick with a water based coolant

Already done a Google search and could not find anyone who has used the stuff with an ek9, just wanted to know if anyone thought it was worth it.

I only asked about other cars as people who have used it with other cars may have an ek9 and decided against using it in the ek9 for one reason or another

I know 2 folk who have tried to run it in their k20's and it didn't work. They done it properly with the flush etc... As it should be and the engines just didn't like it.

Stick to water based imo. Waterless is more hassle than it's worth.
