Basically im looking to learn more about them like what needs to be done to achieve big figures out of b18c whats dangerous and why? what are the blow backs of high comp builds and low comp builds? do people think standard is better i want yer opinions please good an bad also more info on engine internals would be good also if anyone has any good video links iv always been curious about them i know the basics but want to learn more hope that makes sense haha thanks in advance

Iv seen that most people do there high comp bulds boared out to 82mm what power would u expect to make from this after a map?

Iv already looked at the turbo route now i want to learn about N.A

Im currently running a very fast b16a dynod at 187bhp but blows past all sorts of yokes somehow so very tempted just to build that but a built b18cr would surly have more torque an power mayby not :p

Check out the Evans tuning build videos :) I'll get a link if you need it tomorrow.

Your asking quite a broad question really mate.
Asking how much power a 82mm high comp motor will make isn't specific enough.
How high compression?
What cams used?
What fuel is available?
All sorts of variables.

big power N/A b series with money no issue I'd get some darton sleeves and go 84mm pistons on the b18c crank.
Compression up at like 12.5/13-1 and a suitable cam for that compression range.
No reason I can see that you won't hit 245-250hp with that. Seen as the engine will be a 1.9 from the larger pistons

sorry il be more specific i want to lean about what internal parts are used an the running of the engine so if somethin goes wrong with mine or i take it apart il know what im looking at i have a general idea rings pistons crank valves ect but what else is there if ya get me also id be thinkin b18cr 82mm nippon hi comp pistons an rods an brian crower stage 2 full head

Oh right,
Well once you get your head round the vtec system then they are just another piston engine tbh. They all work the same and use the same parts mostly.

Nice one thanks lads any more help or info be good iv ordered a book on honda tuning there so hopefully that helps :D
