I recently built my b16 head with BC stage 2 cams, valve springs and retainers and the bottom end decided to let go. So im looking at getting another b16 which is turbo'd and has the type r cams and valvetrain. Which would be better for gains and reliability? Keep as is or swap the head over for BC?

Could just buy my built b18c bottom end and have a very reliable and very quick na monster. All 1500 miles old check out my forsale thread
 
My guess if you have the BC Stage 2 for N/A application you should take the head with the type r cams. BC has a specific camshafts for turbo applications:

No thanks kellsled. Im getting a good deal on this new engine. And yes rvm your right. Completely forgot you got 2 different kinds. Thanks for clearing that up
