Iv a little issue, only sometimes it happens and always at idle once or twice at low rpm pulling off , it feels like when your fan comes on but a little harder, if that makes sense? And only when up to temperature,
B series 1.6 sir2, (new dizzy but not oem) newish HT leads ,
Just put in new plugs this morning Ngk bkr6e n11 same as old,
My question is , you think iacv is at play here ?
And would a happy o2 sensor cause this ?
I will update latter to see if new plugs solve this .
No cel, only cel 20 ELD , not an issue.
I have spare o2 and iacv and map sensor ,
And I also put back in oem ECT sensor I had non oem ect in ,
OBD2A,
THANKS IN ADVANCE leej8.

Old plugs look ok to me but?

Dude so far so good,
But it only happens an add time like 2 or 3 times a week ,
Today after driving I turned car off for 3 minutes
To go into shop
When I came out to start car it cranked for about 2 or 3 seconds before she started?
Iacv a bit happy?
Then later when starting she fired up, but kind of slow to get there ?
Iv a spare iacv I will clean up good a put it on ,

Plugs are about 12 month old, iv done two oil and filter changes with them on .
Will update again soon.
Thanks pal .

Also when I hold rev at say 1200rpm when up to temperature
And let off, the idle will drop right down as if
About to cut out ,but go's back to 800rpm
Thats the only time /way that happens?
Slow iacv?

Clean up iacv or take the car for a good rip. See if any improvement, this cold weather clogs up crap. My ep3 was playing up, took it for a rip all sorted now.

Did you get this sorted pal. Hows your battery and earthing, have you took off your dizzy to check everything and also the condition of your relay.

Battery is brand new this week pal ,
Had dizzy off for a look ,cheap non oem distributor,
I heard hondas don't do well with non oem coil and icm?
I thought about relay but never went near it ,yet!
I'm thinking of just getting a oem coil cap and rotor and rebuild my oem dizzy ,
And sell my new dizzy on .
Also earths are ok but could do with a add on few .

If in doubt flat out
Works most of the time , when I think about it iv been driving the car a little more normal lately cos iv a bad input shaft bearing and am hoping it will hold till
Summer so I can do it in my driveway,
Haha car is probably trying to tell me to drive her the way she was built for lol,

I dont think its your dizzy then i could be wrong. Check your relay under your glovebox and resolder it, even if you dont need to just for future precaution. Swap your spark plugs for some cheap ones to test or borrow a mates to eliminate them. You can get a spark tester from halfords for 10quid to check your plugs and leads, a handy tool.

Sometimes these things just cure themselves, i know its stress and we get paranoid. I hate new noises and i cant sleep till i rectify the noise. But then next morning the noise is gone, trust in honda lol.

New plugs put in other day , so I will wait and see
If any changes,
Plug tester ? Do you know the name of it ?
Be handy to test leads also .

Cant remember the name, my mate brought it from halfords when i broke down due to my dizzy failure. You basically put it into the socket for the plug and it lights up to check spark, then you test each one.

I've got one, they're pretty cheap, good little tool though.
You can test your HT leads with a multimeter.
