Thinking of selling my 1997 ek9


if this was for sale come feb then i would definatly be interested. selling my starlet gt in the new year. its nice car mate hope it goes to a good home.

it might still be for sale then but ive had quite a bit of interest but there are alot of time wasters out there.
i dont start my new job till mid feb so got till then to sell my car. so u could be in luck!

unfortunatley the jap history was lost/stolen when it was imported. there is a litle history now of what servicing has been done. this wasnt an auction car so there is no sheet.

Just another quick question mate, im new to all this importing stuff. Is there anyway of proving mileage? or proving it hasnt been fiddled in japan?

Unfortunately when cars are imported things are stolen or lost, not alot u can do about it. Even if u had history it still might not be correct as someone may have still played around with it. Its a chance u have got to take when u buy an imported car cos u never know whats happened to it. Best thing to do is go see the car, see how is runs check oil, water etc check for damage. Thats what i did. I went to see a few different ones and they weren't that good, run a bit lumpy.
 
Another good thing too look out for is to see how the uk owner has looked after it. Ie regular service and very regular oil change like mine has, i change oil about ever 4k km. But thats all u can really do. Or stick with a car that was made and sold in this country from new with full main dealer history.
 
in the chasis no. i think its some thing like : ek9000186

so i think this indicates whether its a early one, 186th one made possible?
 
really interested in this EK9 been after one for a while i see you are looking for 6500 - 7000 now i would be wanting to offer about 6500 and am interested in viewing the car, please drop me a pm so i can contact you,
Also what plate is teh car on at teh moment is it back on the P plate or do you need to get that changed over before sellng?

and we are so priveliged to pay for our insurance along with them aswell! yeh,right.
