has anyone supercharged ther ek9 like the kit from funky power and have u had many problems with it!

What kit? Can you post a link? Many people have supercharged B series engines, the power is not as high as most people expect but many people are also happy with the small increase.

My buddy's Gsr motor with the JRSC made 260whp with I/H/E..

Well there are two different types, to keep it simple i will say there are kits like the vortech and kits like the JRSC, the vortech kits usually add more power, usually about 100whp increase while the JRSC you are lucky to see 60whp increase.

My buddy's Gsr motor with the JRSC made 260whp with I/H/E..

he must have had something else, like a high boost pulley and an aftercooler or race gas. Or he was just on a High hp reading dynapack that measured flywheel hp.
