Oil pressure woes.
Noticed when I turn a corner(pretty hard considering road tyres) the gauge jumps down from 80 to 60psi then shoots straight back up, even if it's a long sweeping turn it will only do it on initial turn in then back up to 80 for the rest of the corner.
Does it both left and right, highly doubt it's a baffle problem because
1. I'm only on road tyres(on the road),
2. Baffles have always been installed and never noticed this issue.
I'll double check oil level when I get back to the yard but pretty sure it's full.

I can only really test it at speeds where I can turn and see the gauge at the same time. So soon as I get a pas seat in I'm going to get someone to check the gauge whilst I throw it about and give it some more revs.

My thoughts ATM are oil pickup gasket leaking alittle or I've dented the sump again.
Orrrr tegiwa supplied the wrong oil pick up pipe as that's new aswell.
Open to suggestions on how or why this is happening with the baffles in on aged road tyres...

I checked the oil level. Was maybe 1-2mm off the full mark.
Put another 300ml into it so that's easily full now.
Didn't get a chance to check it today. The gauge started playing up real bad. Think I need a new one tbh

hehe Make sure it's not a dodgy gauge giving you grief 1st & my turbo has proper dented sump squashed by the 3" exhaust (OK my oil pressure gauge doesn't work either) but given I've done 3000 miles with it like that I'd say its ok

So the gauge is Defo dead now lol
So need a new one, really haven't got spa or stack money ATM but want a decent gauge.
Might go mechanical.

I had a mechanical Stack oil pressure and water temp gauge.
Always did what they were meant to do. No Sh*t sensors to go wrong

Always been worried about leakage with them is all.
Looks like I'll try it though, they are a fair bit cheaper than the digital/electrical ones.
For a decent brand atleast. Don't really need fancy gadgets like peak record etc, just need them to work and be accurate(ish)

When I go out for a hoon or on track I always run the oil slightly higher than the max marker on the dip stick.

Hopefully a good guage will also see you right

Yeah I hope so. Not been able to test it with a higher level because of gauge going bandy on me.
Will order a new one tomorrow.
