Sluggish acceleration & 1100rpm idle.

Hi need some help here if you can. My ek9 when parked at say a red light will sometimes idle at 1100rpm (when fully warmed up) and other times wil sit at 900rpm as normal, am i right in saying this could be a clogged iacv?

Also my main and most annoying problem, sometimes when the engines warmed up and taking off in first gear the car response feels very 'lazy' and you have to push down on throttle more than usual to get even a half good takeoff!? Its really annoying and tbh if I ever need a quick start off the line its not going to happen unless im sitting at 4000rpm!

Does this sound like the timing could be off? Or could it be something else?

A clogged iacv usually results in a dipping or low idle, however the iacv could be faulty.

The first thing I would check for is vacume leaks around the inlet manifold as that would cause the effects you describe
