hey,
sorry if this has been asked before but ive been searching like crazy and theres plenty of fitment guides but not for the b16b...

i was just about to start stripping oem and fitting a skunk2 intake mani... just looking to see if it was a case of swapping sensors and hoses etc like for like and i noticed this

on the skunk2 mani where the coolant hose goes theres another smaller pipe branching off.
i can see the equivalent of this hose on my b16b but its not part of the mani its on the engine as shown here

i know what its for, well i presume its coolant to the butterfly on the throttle body but either way im going to be left with a hole somewhere!
can anyone shed any light on this please as everyhting else looks fine and its all thats stopping me fitting it now!

hopefully its just me overlooking something:blabla::blabla::blabla:

i`ve installed the same intake on my b18c. i really didn`t notice this before, but be assured i have no spare holes or hoses.if you like, i can go check which is the 8mm hose?

yeahh ive looked through your pics on a previous search. on your the pipe setup looks different on the b18. both pipes look to be together... rather than the large one on the mani and the smaller one coming off the thermostat housing on mine
thanks anyways bud:D

BUMP... just got a skunk2 manifold from tegiwa and im having the same issue as above... can anyone shed any light on what needs to happen? Cant see any caps or anything in the box with the mani that would block it off :S

It connects to your iacv. Its the water heating circuit for it.
The b18c manifold has a pipe in yhe same place. Pretty sure the b16a one does too.

Last email I got back from Tegiwa just said to blank it off? Cant see any other hose that would go on it!

Is it true that skunk2 inlets only Flo like 75 rpm though the idil screw and you iacv has to work over time to keep revs at idil? Making you ecu work harder? True or not ?
