Service at Honda

Ok,

having owned my honda a few weeks know and loving it!

i want to know what service people have had done at Honda if any!

While i dont mind doing things myself i thought i'd get the experts to look over it first - and let me know where all of its falls are if any?? and then i will be able to do the servicing myself!

What sort of servicing intervals should i be doing? 6k,8k,10k and my car is still in KMH as i have not converted it!

Can any one let me know if i should the the tensioner changed when i get the cambelt done i've ready a few posts and seem to get mixed information!
The service guy at Honda said they never change them unless there leaking but is it advisable to do it anyway - ie fresh import start the history from fresh!

All advise greatly appreciated!

Honda Happyness - means i get a Cambelt done for £200 and a Full service is £230 - is this cheap or not? comments!
 
I would sooner go to a Honda tuner than the dealers, any up your way?
 
go to a tuner mate. i used to work as a tech at kettering honda and id say go to a tuner.
 
OK, if thats where im ment to be going, care to give me some ideas of who i could go to! im based in Leicester!
 
i know they have tuned one! it used to be trikmods car! but i didn't think that general servicing was there thing!
 
Alright mate i got a cambelt done at honda main dealer about a month a ago, they also did my brakes 4 £200. They didnt change the tensioner though! one of my friend yous to work for a honda main dealer hes got a jordan and he dident change the tensioner when he did the cambelt, i now he did it well over a year ago now and he had no trouble at all. If you get it done at a main dealer you get warranty any way!
