I ordered some heat grade 7 Iridium plugs, but the company sent me heat grade 6.

My engine is stock a part from uprated ignition leads and I believe standard heat grade is 7?

Will heat grade 6 really be much difference? I can't be arsed with the hassle of sending the parts back etc.

Ps.

Also, OEM Jap Parts now have DENSO plugs listed, but the engine codes are:

HONDA CIVIC 1992-2000

HONDA CIVIC 1.3 ENGINE CODES D13B2, D13B3

Dont see no B16B listed there, so why are they in the EK9 service parts?
 
OK..maybe I'll just keep them?

Can you advise on if any of the below engine codes spark plugs also fit the B16B?

I used the wrong plug temperature on my moped back in the day.. Melted and holed the piston..

Although a B16 is undoubtedly alot stronger than my ped engine!!

The problem is a hotter plug like the 6 can cause detonation, EVERY engine will fail with detonation.

Send them back, make them pay for return shipping and get what you paid for!
 
its ok to go a grade or so colder with plugs, but never go hotter,
