Quick question, engine torque damper

hmmm I can only say how i did mine.

looking from the firewall of the car.

The NUT with a 27mm (not sure exact size) turned Clockwise.

the Grip nut anti clockwise...

So theres some threads showing...lot me get a pic right now...

My bad theres no thread....it is between the Blue tube and the Nut...

Anyway bad picture, but you get the idea....push the Nut against the Blue Tube

and turn the Grip so it is away from them...

AND! i just remembered...

Get a Spanner on the other end of the Tube, you can see where theres cut away for it.

thats how the nut gets tighten against the tube

So its the bit that I have the red line on that has to be adjusted to determine the hardness? If its fully in it will be at the softness setting? And out at its at the hardest? Although if its out too much I think it may come loose?

Thanks Tmus

Yes I think, I just turn it far away as I could and left it and it hasn't moved

But you got to get the Nut tight against the Tube, Like i said above use another Spanner on the tube.

Then use spanner to hold the nut and twist the grip one, to get a gap like mine.

Cool i'll have a go tomorrow and let you know how I get on:thanks:
