Ok I have just purchased a B18C from a P plate Integra. Can some of previous experience advise me on problems I WILL encounter. Not may WILL. I’am hearing lots of different things.

Mine is a pre facelift OBD2 combined with a B18C OBD2 I believe. I am using my gearbox. I am told it is

1) a plug and play with the loom providing I use my loom

2) all engine mounts fit perfect no mods

Then I hear

1) is not plug and play and requires soldering and the loom to be chopped about is this correct?

2) the kmh to mph won’t be compatiable with my box

3) one engine mount near the timing belt is not the same???

WTF

Has any1 experience in this swap that can guide me through this process. I have an ounce of common sense and am an engineer by trade so am fairly competent with a spanner…. Lol

I just want to know what the score is. I also see Funkypower do a delimiter for 30 quid so I may need this.

PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME INSANE.

:angry2:

I have done this swap myself!:D

You will be glad to know that it's is Plug & Play, no choping or soldering!

2) all engine mounts fit perfect no mods
As long as you use your engine mount's there will be no mod's needed!

2) the kmh to mph won’t be compatiable with my box
This is crap, why would it not work when your not changing anything to do with the box or wiring!

3) one engine mount near the timing belt is not the same???
As said just use your mounts & you will have no issue!

Ill send you a PM with my mobile number so if you have any issue's you can give me a call!:nice:

Thank you mate. I really appreciate that. No doubt you will get a phone call. I think this was Hond-r giving scare tactis to try and make me take it to them to do. Wankers. Really don't think much of them anymore.:nono:

So will i need the delimiter so i can ge passed 112mph?

When you say engine mount are you talking about the one welded to the car or the bracket with 2 long stud on it attached to the engine?

Thanks again:nice:

Anytime mate!:nice:

They will say thing's like that because they want your hard earned for a simple job!
Trust me it is no hard at all!
If you have removed & re-fitted an engine befor then you will find it a dodel:D

This is the first. But i have rebuilt my old 2 stroke bike engines, fitted clutches in my old R6 taken the swing arm out and back in, fitted all the stuff to all my cars i refuse to pay some monkey when i know i will do a better job.

Any ideas on the other 2 questions?

U have to reuse your "bracket with 2 long stud on it attached to the engine"
If u will be using UKDM ecu u dont need delimiter,u will need that only for JDM ecu
