I've been having trouble with an oil leak from the PCV chamber on the back of the block on my b18c6. The O ring that seals the chamber into the block had broken up.

I've replaced the O ring ( genuine from Honda ) I used engine oil on the seal when refitting. A few track days later and its happened again, l Oil is leaking as the seal has broken up.

The PCV system is clean no sludge etc. can anyone shed any light on this issue ?

You got it bolted in? Iirc the chamber/box has a bolt that holds it to the block.

That's right mate it's bolted to the block then the inlet manifold support Bracket also bolts to the front of the chamber.

Try fitting a new o ring but lubricate it with silicone grease (not sealer)

Excessive crankcase pressure?

I've refitted with silicone grease. I'm out at Combe on the weekend so I'll see what happens.

Jesse the engine is healthy , is it a bottom end issue that causes excessive crank case pressure ?

Would the engine not smoke / burn oil with a ring problem ? I get no smoke at all even up at 8k odd. The engine leaks oil but sure as hell doesn't burn it haha :)

Not always. The first engine I built I chipped a compression ring, engine ran fine and made good power but it breathed real heavy.

I would have thought crank pressure would have to be very high to push passed that but it's an idea atleast...

Extra breathers are the usual route, tbh i do doubt it is the cause but it may help if you can reduce that pressure if possible.
