P72 head?

Ok, still tring to figure out what engine i got in my ek9. On the bottom block with the gearbox, it has b16b stamped . And on the head, on the side to the right it has p72 stamped on it... I googled and it seems this is a b18c head is it?
 
B16b shares a head with the B18C only the inlet cam is different..
 
so there is no way to tell the difference between the two without taking the rocker cover off?
 
P72 = GS-R/18C1 in the USDM.

P7300 = JDM DC2-R,
P73A0 = USDM DC2-R

Is the B16B supposed to have a PCT or P73 stamping on the head?
 
iirc my b16b head was stamped pr3-00 its been a while since i even looked at my car... i will check again if i get a chance...
