Oil Pump

Ive tried searching the web, all I really need is a Honda Service Schedule to see when things need doing.

What I'm looking for is when should the oil pump be changed on a B series, specifically a B18C6.

Going to be giving my new engine a full refresh, belts, pumps, gaskets etc and just wondered if it's worth doing the oil pump.

The engine is currently on 76k.

Any advice appreciated!
 
When I get home I will post a picture showing how to inspect/check the clearances on the oil pump.

I don't think there is any set interval to change the pump.

If you strip it down and find that it's well with in spec then it will be fine to go again
