After refitting the engine in my ek9 I have not been able to start it.

It's turning over on starter, it's getting fuel but no spark from any of the 4 leads. I have tried swapping the dizzy for one known to work from a mates car.

I've checked all engine earths and reset my viper immobiliser. At a complete loss as to what the issue could be.

Any help appreciated

Have you tried stuffing your dick into the intake manifold? I had similar issues, starter first time when I tried this method.

P.s, I've heard that putting your balls in aswell isn't necessarily required, but makes it much more fun.

not helpful at all TBH .... but omg I just spat my drink all over the computer screen

have you checked all fuses? I know you said it was getting fuel but does the fuel pump prime?

Fuel pump primes and I've checked all fuses. Still cannot diagnose the problem! Find it strange that there is no codes when I cross the pins

Defo not the immobiliser?

I've done a hard reset of it using the code. It's not immobilising the fuel supply which it normal does so doesn't appear to be that

Time to get the autometer out.
Probably wise to work backwards finding the power to the distributor first. If no power perhaps you've pulled some wiring while you where dismantling.

Let us know what it is should you find it.

Does anyone know if the Ignition Signal Input wire to distributor comes from the plug mounted on driver side turret? Don't appear to have continuity through the wire.

Looking for a pin-out for this plug circled in the photo

Power to distributor comes from that plug. It is the large black/yellow wire

Yeah I'm wondering if the distributor ignition signal wire comes from there too though? It's the Yellow / Green wire (pin 1 on dizzy)

Ok so it's not a fuse, or relay. It's not the distributor. It's not the ignition switch. It doesn't appear to be the immobiliser. Anyone? I'm pulling my hair out

Got a spare ecu? Clutching at straws for you tbh.
It should be something you've done and not something broken but you've checked it all?

You'd think it would be something I disturbed with rebuild but I've checked everything over and over. Don't have an ecu unfortunately

Are you using a chipped ecu or jumper harness for the ecu?

I would trace whatever bit of harness coming from your alarm to where ever it kills the ignition circuit, has to be a loom issue going by the info you've given

Standard obd2a ecu. Yeah I will look deeper into immobiliser wiring just surprised if it's at fault given that I didn't disturb it during rebuild?

I've seen them to give spontaneous pain in the ass!

Saying that there should be continuity from the distributer and the loom, you said above you aren't getting any on one wire?
