My new build up B18C-The Beginning

My former engine B16A2 (202 BHP) is dead, dropped a valve...

After couple of month I could get all the parts for my new engine.
I decided to go on B18C...

I will have 81.50 mm pistons, Cometic headgasket, ITR lma's, Supertech black nitride flat valves, BC3+ cams, BC camgears, RM SL light valvetrain,ported and polished CHead, ITR ported manifold, ITR TB and Hytech copy header...

Yes I could get Recaro's as well! They were presents for me!

Hopefully next week we can start the machinework and within a month I can drive my baby...

My car after 4 month finally at home!!!

Next week I start the break in period! I hope this time everything will be OK!

Welcome! There are not so many Hungarians (probably just us) on this forum!

New infos:

- finished with break-in period (3 times oilchange) now around 2800 kms

- Comptech Icebox fitted with K&N filter

- SIRII LSD in B16A2 tranny (I haven't tried it yet, I get back my car on friday)

- Rotors were turned and got new brake pads (Axxis Ultimate) (EK9 5 lug system)


In couple of weeks I will dyno my new set-up!

Today I tried my car against a BMW M5. We was head to head untill 2nd gear 7.5k (I was suprised) but then it red lined! That's I don't understand because the red line should be at 8.6k!!! I don't have smooth idle as well, something happend with the ECU harness!! We gonna check it tomorrow!
