i have been told that a itr bottom end (crank) is a good mod for a b16b has anyone done this and what improvements did i have if any ??

Puts the displacment up from 1600cc to 1800cc due to a longer stroke... along with that i would get some fresh rods and pistons....

up have to get ITR rods and pistons too, you would be "stroking" the motor, this is a proven way to make power for MANY years now...

what will happen if i dont fit itr rods and pistons ?

You HAVE to use the rods otherwise your EK9 rods wont reach the crank. I have ITR crank ITR rods and EK9 pistons for more compression. The build is not cheap if done correctly whats ya budget?

just kind of priceing things up just now how much did your crank cost? and the rods ? and have you had it on the rollers to see what kind of power its putting out ?

ive just give my b18c6 rods and crank to engine shop to have them inspected/measured to check whether still within honda specs, if so ill be selling them soon, do have itr pistons as well but already agreed deal with someone for them, not expectin silly money for crank and rods if i do sell them but will post up in due course

not exactly, your rods will be too long, your compression ratio will be 30:1, your pistons will eat your valves and hit the cylinder head.
