hey im looken into picken up sum itb's for my b18c5 i dont really kno anyone in my area with them... i live in washington it rains 9 months out of the year with itbs would i have to worry about any kind of hydro lock??? if so is there any type of filter thanx for your help im deff a noob wen it comes to itb's im more of a turbo guy but with the c5 i dun wna boost lol

why don you contact the company that sells the ITB's your interested in buying and ask them if they sell a filter kit?

if they dont, you can always fab something up but filters dont really stop water...

you really shouldnt get water where the itbs sit. unless you cut a silly hole in the bonnet. but i would just run a cold air feed. iv seen itbs that come with there own air box witch then runs a cold air feed be worth looking at Regal AutoSports Dbilas Throttle Body Conversions i know its for a vauxhall but it will give you an idea and here is a filter again not for a honda but you must get then Regal AutoSports Dbilas Throttle Body Conversions

OP: I think you should do more reading on how to tune the ITBs first and take into account what kind of budget you have. Your concerns are well founded to a certain degree, but lumek4 has posted some pretty good links ...you also don't mention what kind of ITBs you intend to go for?

thanks for tha advice and responses im still on the market for the brand im, using my government refund check and sum money i saved...as for tuning my buddy owns a shop and specializes in tuning hondas so thats taken care of
