GSR intake Manifold on B16B

Ye Guys,

has anyone tried doing this swap... (GSR intake manifold on B16B). If so does it give any increase in performance???

i doubt it would give any gains as its vert restictive on the b18c1

It won't fit, and it wasn't designed for the b16b at all, as far as matching it's power curve. An IM that tries to work well at low AND high RPM's isn't really optimized for either and the b16b works best at high RPM's.

Thats right... B16B mani is already made to work very well for top end. Even Skunk2 has made a type R knock off to sell.

Yea if you remove the S2 logo it's exactly the same design

OK thanks for the info.... So i guess the stock mani is the best option. Unless you plan on going ITB.

no, the old skunk2 is a type R copy but the skunk2 pro is its own design... there is also th eedelbrock performer X which is realy good too/
