Fuel but no spark???


Ah so should be all good then! Need to make this knowledge easier to find for future reference. I know people that have scrapped the dizzy completely because they thought icm was the issue....
 
Getting fed up with this bullshit now he's sent me a D series dizzy I think, TD42U code

My distributor knowledge is clearly lacking somewhat so I can't say if it's the wrong one.

Rebuild your dizzy? I'm surprised it just stopped working tbh.
 
So am I but the old motor did run rough and struggle to start and this dizzy is the only part I re used that could cause it really apart from a loose connection but everything seems ok
 
Ah OK fair enough to suspect it then I guess.
 
Will the coil from your new dizzy fit your one ?
If so , fire her on and she should fire up .
Your dizzy the two plug type ?
 
I'm not harvesting a 20 quid part out of a 100 quid dizzy mate it's going back
 
I've ordered bits to rebuild mine, I know what you're saying but it's not worth messing with it in case I round one of these pissing screws off or something. Need to buy some JIS screw drivers really.
