can anybody tell me what the weight is of a standed flywheel for a ek9

i think its 7-8 kgs

yeah it's about 7kg. if you want to install a lighter one don't go below 4kgs bcz then the car will be crap at low speeds.

are you sure as the lightweight ones that are for sale are 7.5kg so sureley the standed cant be 7/8 kg

Most aftermarket flywheels are 7.5 - 9.5 lbs - Thats roughly 3.4kg..

agreed, i've recently purchase a kaiten flywheel and there range is roughly 4-5kgs.

Stock flywheel is 7kgs and looks pretty ugly

This is my ACT flywheel, it is about 5.5 to 5.7kgs.
It's perfect for street use, as the revs don't drop too fast when you change gears.
