Exhaust cam end cap

Hi all,

My engine was built up recently and I want to avoid disturbing it.

The end cap which fits on the end of the exhaust cam near the V-TEC solenoid is missing. I know most types slot in and are ribbed both sides of the cam carrier - I would prefer one that simply pushes in from the outside and locks without having to remove the cam to fit.

Does anyone know of a good version I can use - I saw a picture of one that has some securing lugs so that it clips in properly.

Any advice or links would be great.

That end cap doesn't hold the cam iirc. so you should be able to take it off and fit the seal without disturbing everything else.

If its the one I'm thinking of I done mine recently, as murray said it doesn't hold the cam. Easy enough job to do and there's a few good diy videos on YouTube showing the job step by step.
