ek9 ecu

hey guys,
ive a vti ek4 (160bhp model) and i have found a second hand type r ecu, that revs out to 9000, but cud ne one tell me wud i benifit from upgradein my ecu to a type r one and wud i be fit to remap it? and wud it fit ok?? thanks in advance

Im using one atm with my b16a2 as an inbetween ecu, but im running ek9 cams also.

You wont benefit by just swapping the ecu over to an ek9 one, also they are obd2 so you cannot socket them for tuneing.

thats like a differnet language to me lol, i wudnt know much about the engine types etc
