Hi I have a ECU here, just wondering is it the EK9 ecu or EK4 ecu?

I just googled and found out its for a DC2? WTF? is this right? Would it be causing any problems in my EK9?

hi mate, well the DC2 ECU will be fueling for a 1.8 so i would of thought your running rich at the moment........ I could be wrong, so will wait for confirmation.

Yup, P73 is from a DC2 Type R, EK9 is xxxxx-PCT-xxx.

Can you see it causing any problems other than overfuelling a little?

Also the later spec DC2 use the PCT ECU like the EK9 so would the DC2 and EK9 ECUs be interchangeable?

there is only one way to fix this problem, you HAVE TO STROKE YOUR MOTOR TO A 1.8

there's nothing wrong if you want to run that ecu. in you car is basically the same maps.

And also my vtec is kicking in just before 6k rpm. Is that the standard for dc2?
