Ecu help..

well lads does any1 on here from ireland by any chance have a ODB 1 ECU.. recently got a b16a2 engine for my 92 civic and didnt get a ecu with it... had a sohc vtec engine in her and that ecu wont start up the engine,:nice:

yes it will start the car but is not going to run at it's full potential need to either chip you single cam ecu or get a p30 or p72 OBD1

i tryed to start her with the single cam ecu but she wont start, ther was an alarm on the car wen i got her but i never used it so when i changen the engine i disconnected the alarm... when i done this i had no ignition lights and the injecters stopped working so i reconnected the alarm and ignition lights and injectors worked again...so im guessing theres a immobiliser on her??? does any 1 no how to find out if theres an immobiliser on the car or how to disconnect it cause i dont have the key for the alarm itself...
 
just remove the alarm and join up the wires its been joined into.i have an ecu for an ek4 sir if its any use to you
