dc5 feeling slugish

I was just looking under the car there and the plug off the second sensor in the exhaust the one towards the rear of the car is melted of the exhaust it's plugged out. Could that do it
Secondary O2 sensor is for emitions if not present or not working the car would not be efficient when it comes to gas milleage and pollution..

Ah I see thought I had an easy fix. Just ordered one for 100 quid

Too late now never mind. I'm ordering service parts aswell anyway

Why don't you try some octane booster or something? If what vtec6000 says is correct then (assuming the booster things actually work) this will fix it?
Wouldn't go pulling the engine apart for no real reason.

what octane booster would ye reccomend

As above, I'm skeptical that any of them actually work, but for the cost it can't be bad to try it out.

I wouldn't bother with the "octane booster" just yet. Fix your current problem first with a new sensor.

But as said is that not a separate problem or could it be leading to my problem

Only thing is, if the fuel is the problem, everyone else with a dc5 on the area would be having the same issue?
Assuming your dc5 is stock or close enough?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Ya stock except for mugen intake, mugen mani with cat mugen twin loop

Not sure what to say tbh.
Tps? No lights up? Tried pulling a code from it?

I have a lambda sensor from our ep3 we replaced thinking it was faulty and wasn't.

Would it throw a code if I tried even though the light isn't on

Are these the same as the ek9s. Just jump a little 2 wire plug in the passenger side footwell

Best to google that one bud, probably have a diagnostic port somewhere if you've got a code reader?

Has the manifold got a flexi in? They can fail and close right up

I have heard of the TPS failing without an fault codes and it would make the car run very sluggish with bad fuel economy etc if not working correctly

Primary O2 sensor controls fuel trim but usually throws up the EML light if it goes faulty
