CRVtec_ej6 needs help.....

Ok so my speed sensor has been acting crazy every since I changed my clutch. I simple just unpluged the plug. This was the first time it was unplugged since I've had the car. I't was bascily swinging back and forth like a tach. It did it for a bit than went back to normal.

Than it just stop working all together. It would'nt move at all. . I just replaced it with a brand new one and still no go. I even have a new cluster as well. I'm thinking it's the wiring, or maybe even the plug it self!!

Any help would be sweet. It's also messing with my VTEC so I want it fixed ASAP...

sounds like you may have a damaged wire, or loose/bad contact on the vss plug

I checked the wires, they were all fine. There didnt seem to be any damage.

The vss plug is what plugs on top of the sensor right?

yeah, just a thought that if its been on and off a few times perhaps the terminals in the plug have got a bit slack,?
