Im building a new motor for my ek.

I have b18c4 / gsr stock block
with pr3-3 dc2 complete head.

Im trying to work out how much to have skimmed of the head as it needs a mild skim anyway. Im going to be running oem head gasket but want to know what cr i will get with it as it stands so i can work from that point to a slightly higher cr. This isnt being built for all out power, im just talking in the mid to high 10 cr.

Pretty much want to run the highest i can without getting new pistons and not hitting valves :nice:

Any help or guidence is great!

I cannot remeber if the b18c4 pistons are p72-00 or p72-A0.

Anyone know?

Might just save more and go with itr pistons. hmmm
 
They ought to be "00" as A0 is usually a designation reserved for USDM models.

Save a bit more and go with the better piston.

Ill now be building it with p73 pistons, worth it in the long run.... i hope :)
