Different types of cooling fans.
On my car at the moment I have a Tegiwa alluminium half radiator that has one of those 10 or 13" aftermarket cooling fans that mount flush to the core of the radiator with plastic ties going through the core.
I've had experience with these types of fans on classic cars and I've always thought that they're not much cop, they never seem to draw the air through as well as standard fan and they just don't seem to cool down the radiator over standard, I suppose it's due to the motor being too small really.
Is anyone else running one of these fans and what do you think? How have you found them?
I'm thinking of getting a standard fan and modifying the cowling to fit the radiator.
