cold running problem

i have a B16A2, and wen i start it from cold it donst like to return to idle after you give it the slightest rev it stalls, so i have to let it warm up before i drive it (not so bad now its icy windows in the morning) but when its warm its fine any ideas?
coolant temp sensor?
air leak?
i took the cambelt off on the week end to do my lma's could the timing be very slightly out?

the fast spool solenoid connected to the back of the IM probally needs cleaning as it does accumulate crap from the coolant. Just unplug it, remove 2 bolts, disconnect the coolant lines that run in and out, and give it a clean with water and dont use soap! Check for cracks and wear. If its worn, then you need a new one.

Otherwise you can increase the revs for a higher idle for the time being by loosening the bleed valve on the TB.
