just want to know if there is anyone one here that runs chrome mapping. how does it compair to the likes of hondata. now that iv had my ek9 cams fitted to my b16a2 think im going to need it mapped. and where i live its easyer to get someone to map with chrome

its actually "CROME" and its crap crap crap, ive had 1 friend blow up 3 motors and another blow up 2 motors, the program is not stable or consistant... its free for a reason...

dont do crome, i used it when first going turbo in my sol, car were never rite and the block lasted all of a month. then i went Hondata S300. go hondata it's way better. You'll have problems finding a decent tuner though. CPL in Sheerness are very good on the K series block and ok on the B series. hope this help's

No problems with crome here. We've done a couple of winning club racers on them with the free version and have done others with the pro version and it works great. Uberdata on the other hand...wow ...that was a bit of a mess.

Not sure what problems you guys encountered, but we got on around version 1.45 (I think?) and it's been stable. We do use Moates Ostrich and Burn-1 which seems to be much better for use in datalogging and chip burning.

It's obviously not as well integrated as the S300 though - which along with the Neptune RTP can be considered the standard in "stock ecu" mapping.

Running with crome free version 1.4.9 and i had no problems at all for almost a year.
