Hi guys, couple of questions!
recently started a b18cr build. I'm after some info/advice on what tuner I should use once built?
I've purposely bought some jenvey itbs, to build the engine to them, spec on them is 42 or 45mm throttle bodies (I need to recheck them) and 90mm trumpets.
Now I recently bought a built head to go on this b18 as I thought it was too cheap to pass up
Spec on head:
Skunk2 tuner 2 cams
Skunk2 alpha springs and retainers
Toda cam gear, degreed to cams
Skunk2 Valve stem seals
Very minimal skim
And very minimal polish
All has only covered 20 miles, all parts were new
Now I wanna know is there anything I should change on the head or have done. well I'm at it?

Also any advice on how I should build the bottom end to make all this work? I was thinking CP Pistons 12.5 CR, I'm hoping that I don't find anything to bad with the bores as the engine was a fully running 90k engine.
So hoping I can get away with just honing the bores and use standard size pistons
Also same with bearings

Any and all advice appreciate, this is my first B series build

12.0:1 would be enough compression for those camshafts. In the long run you would be best to go with oversized pistons and have the block bored out.

With 90k miles there is bound to be some wear to the cylinders, the b18c in particular seems to suffer from the bores going out of round so only way to rectify this is to bore out the cylinders and use oversized pistons.
