I've recently purchased a 1995 eg 1.3 carby after selling my ek4 in the pursuit of less weight and more power! (going to go turbo c4)
ive recently been trawling the internet on how this swap is done because of the obvious carb to injection problem. but still cant seem to find the info i need.
First all would people recommend running an external fuel pump or changing the tank and lines?
Right, things i know is needed;
. engine
. gearbox
. drive shafts / linkages
. the mounts
. engine loom
. chipped p28 (h-tune?) with c4 basemap
. esi/vti interior loom?
( ive read that id have to change the interior loom (not just the dash) even back to the rear lights?! )
any helpful info would be really appreciated. any tips on things i can do NOW to make it easier to go turbo , as i will be taking it to go turbo'd soon after its done. would help also.
(any reviews on Race-Tech and its b series turbo kit?)
