Alright guys i have recently brought a B18c block, rods, pistons and crank off a 96 spec jdm Integra type r. Ime looking to raise the compression ratio to 12:1 so i can run a set of stage 2 cams (not to sure what cams to run at the moment jun stage 2 look nice ). Anyone got any recommendations on pistons ? ? would the standard rods be fine for this compression ratio ? Is 12:1 ok for everyday driving ? By the way i have a ek9 with a b16b engine.

well CTR pistons will land you at 12.74 which is a bit higher than you wanted, just get a decent set of forged pistons and rods if you have the motor apart eagle rods and Ross pistons

May i know what injectors that you're running on for that setup?

I am planning to use the exact setup (b18cR+PCT) for the bottom part, only the difference i'll be running with jun3 cams.

Feel free to drop some suggestion guys.

I hope your engine builder checks your p2v clearance you should be good with some RC 440CC injectors

B16A2R do you use your car for everyday driving ? I would love a set of Jun Stage 3 but i use my car eveyday . What do you think blinx are Jun stage 3 ok for eveyday driving ?

What does PCT stand for ? ? ?

PCT = EK9

and yes...JUN3 is fine for everyday if your tuner knows how to tune.

Yea, my car is a daily driven.. One of my friend using this setup and only now that i know he is using Jun3 cams It cant be notice as his idling is smooth as stock..

i ran a set of toda stage 2's, and Rocket motor sport m24's and worked great. Only problem was i noticed that the idle couldnt be firgured out smooth.. has to do with tuning, but i never tuned my car for daily drive.. i only had it on a WOT tune.
No body around(canada) here likes the skunk2's... Find them cheap, and we also had a set of Brian Crower stage 2, and one of the primary lobes got marred...

I really liked them, i would have to say, there were one of the best all motor cam out there...

It was alittle hard to smooth over Vtec during tuning, and i had to set vtec to 4800, compaired to 4100 with the Toda's... but once i got it right, they worked very good...

I will say, Brian Crower did stand behind their product and gave me all my money back for the cams.
