B18c Build Help Wanted - Bearing Sizes

Alrighty people, ive recently bought a bare B18c block along with a Spoon stroker kit/ ITR rebuild package. So it came with brand new ITR Pistons (with rings), brand new ITR Rods and a brand new ITR Crank. The package came complete with everything required to build up the block. What i want to double check is the Rod and Crank shell sizes as the kit came with them new also. I was told there were sized up before i bought it but i just want to double check.

The markings i have on the Engine Block are B C C C D and the markings on the Crank are Y3 3 Y3 Y3 Y3 (not sure if thats the correct layout)

In the kit the Crank Shells are - 6 Brown - 2 Black - 2 Green
And the Rod Shells - 8 Brown

Does this sound about right?
Also is there anything else i should take into consideration when rebuilding it?

Always double check the clearences.. even with plastigauge.
Block letters and numbers/'I II III III ' FROM CRANK are for mains, letters on crank + numbers on side of conrods for rod bearings.

Y isnt used on those motors for bearing codes/chart.

Make sure uve got engine assembly lube! if you need any help, drop me a email/pm

I'm a bit unsure about this bearing size situation. When i got the kit delivered it had 3 brown bearings on the block girdle and the bearing cap for number 5 had a green and the bearing cap for number 1 had a black. So i presumed it would be black to black, green to green and then the 6 browns go together. Is that correct or should i double check? If i am to double check, where do i get a plasti gauge from and how do i use it.

I'm also unsure how to tell if the rod bearings are correct as theres 8 browns so there all the one size.

See when you say Y isn't used on those motors, what do you mean? because thats the markings i have on my crank. I had a look through the net and found for the rod bearings its letters A B C D or 'I II III IIII' as you say but i don't understand why i've got Y then :angry2: Am i just being stupid here.

I'm getting stressed i thought i would just be able to build this straight away :mad:

y dont u try givin a local honda dealer a ring mate am sure they would be happy 2 help
 
I should muldo but ive phoned honda before for a few things and sometimes they don't want to know.

I've now noticed that i have been stupid, its not the Y i should be looking at its the number 3 - So the Crank has the number 3 on it 5 times for each journal and the block has the letters B C C C D meaning .... B3 = Green - C3 = Brown - D3 = Black .... according to the integra service manual.

But if i use a plastigauge and get a measurement how do i know the bearing is the correct size??
