can any one help me to find out what exactly is fitted to this engine and if these are good mods, ive seen that the JIC magic strut goes for around 250quid, so im guessing its a good part, but ive never dealt with an uprated ignition leads or earth wiring kits? would this be a reliable engine with only 52000 miles on it?

Mods include: 4 branch manifold with full stainless steel exhaust, JIC MAGIC strut brace, carbon induction kit, uprated ignition leads, earth wiring kit

any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Scott

4 branch manifold
-looks like a ITR JDM 98 Spec Header - NICE!

carbon induction kit
-looks like top fuel - Not a fan of uninclosed induction systems.

uprated ignition leads
-seen those leads b4 on a 4AGE Twin Cam Engine - very nice. seperate earths for each lead.

earth wiring kit
-don't know. wudn't be too worried about it. an earthing kit is an earthing kit at the end of the day.

anyone else?

cheers Thingee, very helpfull!

is there a reason people dont replace the lead covers? Seen this alot on tuned honda engines

It's hard to get the cover over those leads(which are 10mm nology hotwires very expensive @£150) cos ther that big ,you can get a cover on if you trim the bottom,so who ever put the leads on just left the cover off

Nology! The name was on the tip of my tongue just cudnt get it out.

should be as reliable as any other ek 9 as long as its been maintained properly,

it has something joined in the top coolant hose there looks a bit strange.

cause it cooks the spark plug leads on extended hard driving or if your boosted.
