Hi!
I am new here.
I am spanish and my car is a civic EK4 with OBD2A P2T ECU and I would like install it a S300 hondata.
With P28-harness, I hope have not problem with switch pressure oil and check light. or no?

Someone have a base map to a engine stock with cool air system intake, header maxim works, and exhaust system SRS (60,5mm) and tail spoon N1.

Thank yoy very much.....greetings

Ok.
I do this question because we have a ECU P28 chipped (Crome) with a problem, ON the light check engine at max.rpm, and I believe that is the switch pressure oil of vtec. The OBD2A have not it.
Now I hope have not this problem with S300 how you say.
Thank you

If I understand correctly what you're saying...

- the check engine light turns on at max RPM?

If that is correct, it just means it is using the check engine light as a shift light. It is something programmable/a feature to crome and all Hondata units.

Ok.
Yes, it is how a shift light, (100 rpm before at máx.rpm).
With this ECU (Crome P28), when I going to full load at máx.rpm the ECU look a fault and ON light check and then I turn off the car (Key). Then I turn ON the car , this light is not checking now until I go back to full load (máx.rpm).
I don´t Know if it is cause of P06 converted a P28.

Now, if I will have not this problem with chipped P28 by hondata, I am happy!!
Jajjaja:)

RagingAngel, what he means is that the CEL doesn't lights "off" after reaching the rev limit set in the program, the CEL light turns off after he turn off the car.

I think this has to be a crome configuration issue rather than a problem with your motor. I've read in other forums that this check engine light appears in that way when you're running low in oil. But I can't confirm this since I've never used crome.

Hello,

Yes, the engine is full in oil.
Probably, it is a crome configuration issue how you say me.
The ECU P28 have oil pressure switch from vtec and my ECU ( P2T-OBDIIA) have not it this sensor.
You can see the oil pressure switch in this photo.
I will adjunt photo of my vtec and ECU.

Thanks you

After watching your photo I'm 90% sure that is a crome configuration issue, you should try using a stock ecu, also you should try to get the error code so we can help you better:

spanish:

Despues de ver tu foto estoy 90 % seguro que es algo con la conifugracion de crome, deberias de probar con una ecu stock, tambien seria bueno que lograras obtener el codigo de error asi te podemos ayudar de una mejor manera , saludos!

Ok.
I will use other stock ECU P28 of a EG6. Good idea!!:nice:
I will read the error code with the ECU´s again.
I will adjunt photo´s.

Thanks

Hello again.
The ecu that we've tried and I in my car, gave a fault of 2nd Lambda , according to the error code. My car have not this 2nd Lambda.
Now, would be incorrect probe of an emulator?

Thanks and greetings

Not sure if I understood the post with the pic. But if he's not got a pressure sensor then it will trip a CEL. Its an easy fix. But like I said not sure if I understood it. If thats the problem I can post up a fix for it.

Hello, about this car not having the Vtec Pressure Sensor from factory, we have been doing a research and we fix the CEL caused by the ECU looking for VPS sensor feedback, the way we have done it was just bridge de signal from the vtec solenoid back to the VPS wire on the conversion harnes and it works right now (both signals were 12v level when ON).

Then we done another run to see whats hapen and again CEL light on but this case was code 2 (second lambda sensor) this issue is what we are trying to fix because once the CEL light is on there is no vtec because safe mode on.

We have tryed both firmwares (p30 Jdm and p30 Edm) from crome and allways get the same CEL. First was code 22 that we resolve, now is code 2.

We also have disabled some sensors in options to see if we solve the issue but no luck

this was what we Disabled:
knock sensor
ELD (Don´t know what´s this for)
Athmosferic pressure sensor
injector test
Oxigen sensor (but continue showing CEL code 2)

I think we have two ways now:

1. Use an O2 emulator to avoid the CEL code 2

2. Find a way to turn off the second lambda with CROME

That's we think about this but any help or diferent point of view would be apreciated

PS: I upload some photos of harnes, obd2a ecu and vtec valve and housing with no vps

Hello guys,
After we have checked that Slr said, we have tried the P30 ECU from a stock EG6 civic and has behaved in the same way. Even gave us the same error code (22).

I bought another harness to verify if the pins are correct.

PS: on the other hand, I want to buy S300 at EK9turbo and I hope have not this problem although ECU is P28

Greetings
