B16A2 Bare Engine

B16A2 engine in very good condition. 99k miles.
Stephen (Spek9) went to some length to look after this engine, including a new water pump, and having the head cleaned, adjusted, and skimmed to flat. (Reciept to prove). You can see how clean the head is in the photo!
It has also had multiple oil changes a year from him and during the time I used it (a few months).
As such it doesn't burn any oil and pulls seriously well for an A2.
This is the matching numbers engine for my car.
Im selling it as a bare engine, though I do have a recent cambelt cover for it which is not shown. It needs a seal set for the rocker cover too.

That's a cracker of an engine, as meantioned it actually doesn't burn oil, goes better than any other standard b16a that I have came across.

It came in my ek4 which was standard and very well looked after which explains the condition of the engine

Might be possible on a pallet for around 70quid.

I race if you havent gathered in a 1600 class so wanted a bit more power. I bought a b16b head for it basically for the cams but before I got a chance to fit to the a2, a b16b bottom end came up so I put the two together instead and used that.

I didnt actually race with the b16a2. I have kept it a few months as a spare engine, but now Im building a third engine with big cams etc its surplus to requirements.
