specifically lookin for people who have also stripped rear seats

those that went from oem to either 190 or 255 walbro, how much more noise increase did you find on startup and slow moving traffic ?

i have installed a 255 in my other car and the noise is a fair amount more noticeable especially without rear seats....

I personally love the noise though :) Whining

cheers for the informative reply, ive only driven car for maybe 15 mins and hate the additional noise, find it very irritating

gonna get small sheet of sound insualtion material and stick under cover to reduce noise

I have a walbro 255, noticed the extra noise on priming but other than that I dont notice any other additional noise. hmm'

Curious why you installed one?

ps. 'hmmmm' is the only noise I hear while normal driving!

is your car stripped ? id imagine with rear bench it wouldnt be that noticeable

installed as have fueling issue and oem pump was most likely culprit othewise id have happily kept oem pump

nope, full interior :D

Did you check the funtion of the FPR? if this is sticking open then alot of fuel will be returned to the tank.

same here, and i don't have back seats, on top of that mine is the 255hp.

I have one in my Toyota with stripped interior.

People always say 'Whats that noise?'.

So, it is noticeable.

thanks guys, gettin same response from everyone, fpr is fine will as have fairly new adjustable one

long story with problem but gradually got much worse over last few weeks, friend that mapped and setup my car has said i had some kinda fueling issue for long time but i simply couldnt afford to go out and buy new everything so started with new pump today

will see how runs over the next week as only tested for 15 min run today
