the jdm sir engine has slightly higher output than the vti engine, higher compression is the main reason. iirc

you should never have to cut a brake disc of your car! something is seriously amiss there. never heard of one not coming off after a beating with a hammer at most!

b16b is a great engine for the 1.6 class for clubman stage rallying thats why people are trying to sell them for more. doesn't get much better for outta the box performance on a NA 1600 engine to rally with and they are no more ported and polished than a b18c unless you were comparing b16b to...

these brakes are awesome, i have them on my dc2, costing me in excess of £650 all round. so you guys are in for a bargain if you can look at it like that! lol

gearbox oil change, flush the coolant and renew with fresh. valve clearances as mentioned. water pump doesn't always need doing but may as well do it anyway.

i have a us pro tools aluminium one, use it for rallying so it gets lots of use, low entry and high lift, can pick up one handed also. about £125 you can get cheap copies for about £75 but my one of them fell apart! lol
