lots of mid range gains. performer x has longer runners than almost all honda intake manifolds. hard to make power past 8500rpms with this manifold. all in all its great for practical daily driving, i use one and am happy with it.
no clue how to do it but i know someone that did it themselves so def not that hard. i think u just remove a chip and add a resistor in the ecu.
heres a good link
Got a used ECU, need to remove immobilizer... - Honda-Tech
no need to get it from here. if u have an up to date s300 software they have stock p72 base maps. usdm and jdm. they have base maps for almost every ecu.
nope scratch that just looked on acl's website. vtec6000's right they make .25, always used oem bearings and never messed with under and oversized bearings. learned something new today :)
also make sure they re hardened( nitrating the journal surface) the crank after they cut the journals down...
.25 doesnt sound right. if there measuring in inches thats one thick bearing and if its in mm's its paper thin which wouldnt make sense cause they took material off the crank.if they ground down your crank journals that much the crank is garbage. supply more info about what your shop did your...
honing just breaks the glaze. use stock size rings. when u bring your block to the machine shop for the hone your gonna bring your pistons and rings and if theres a problem with clearances he'll let u know.
try looking for package deals like this. just got to check what brand stuff your getting. be tough to find an all oem package though.

cant help u there. theres a bunch of oem wholesale websites in the states but im sure the shipping is gonna flat out kill it out the ireland, scotland, or uk.
ill built several bottom ends and ya its alittle depressing when all the little stuff u need adds up big time but its worth it to do...
ouch , time for a new block it doesnt look fixable. even if u resleeved it and had the outer wall on thewater jacket fixed i still wouldnt be comfortable using it.
yes sir bought an 99 civic si back in late 1998 as my first honda. i agree at the very least u can get a chrome setup for very cheap now a days. lol i remember running the 12.1 fmu *****+240cc inj and then the 6.1 pill with 440cc on the vafc, what a mess those setups were. agreed, bumping fuel...
u can't say there are no gains from bumping fuel pressure alittle bit on a i/h/e car. is it the right way how to do it? not at all but how do u think people used to adjust before the hondata days and chip days even before s-afc and vafc.

a good intake which means toss those pretty looking j's intakes away if u have one cause they will hurt u in the long run and get your self a nice 3'' cai or short ram intake. a good aftermarket header and a exhaust thats not cambered with a test pipe(de cat). with that you"ll see the 10-15whp...
skunk2 tuner 1 cams are not drop in cams by any means. i am running them now and they were no different than skunk2 tuner 2 and and toda b+c cams when u install them without tuning. the car felt terrible until it was tuned. you should see good gains with these cams as long as u got a good I/H/E...
