    hey guys just wondering if any body got a good standard crank lying around??. Decided its time to rebuild my super high comp motor. the standard b16 just isnt the same..:(

    i have 82mm b18c it did work.. dome tops in there and compression was nearly 13,1.. total amazing transformation!!!..sadly i did spin a bearing though..i was gutted...

    it was last year i did this box but yes we did have to shim alot to prevent the diff catching i think there were 3 shims in total ..sorry about the tapered and roller talk..ment to say ball bearing type.. thats me trying to confuse my self back there.lol.i did not realise the 96/ 98 spec box was...

    b18c block needed asap....

    ive got a block bored to 82mm with cp high comp pistons.. engine spun a bearing so no crank,pump or bearings...still rods in there but 1 is destroyed... has arp rod bolts to..£350 as no use to me

    yeah thats the code i have here bud..TMB208CX1.. i fitted these in my s80 box with gripper lsd.. had to use shims which honda can also supply you in various sizes for about £10 quid each..some people say these bearings are stronger and mainly used with after market lsd,s.dont quote me on that...

    yeah cheers dude.. but like snow man says they are what your looking for..all the s80 boxs that ive opened have been the tapered bearings..roller bearings in the y21 and s4c as far as am aware..i used them in s80..:thanks:

    so guys got my engine stripped totally now ... every thing is still good top end and my pistons are fine...3 rods are good along with there bearings..altho not much use now.. crank got hot and slightly distorted.already had it regrind before so think its dead!!. destroyed number 1 bearings, rod...

    i keep hearing more and more bad storys about agra every day... honestly up untill now ive never had an issue.. my work also use them as well and have done for years with no problems... im now looking at 1 destroyed rod a set of bearings, crank and oil pump...gutted!!!..

    ok guys the input is spot on... just going now to pull the motor out.. see wot the extent of the damage is.. if i go down the b20 road like dunk says?? is it not true they dont like the high revving???.. my engine was full build all brand new parts nothing was cheap crap!!!! cost me a fortune...
