Getting some where now, I have got a bare block so I am planing on using my crank and putting in new pistons and rods. What should I go for oem ? Where Would I get them ? Also the head has 2 damaged valves so this will have to be repaired and skimmed.

It's advertised as a 96 integra type r engine. It must of had it's head replaced with a b18c4 at some stage.

Went to look at a complete engine this evening, the block is stamped b18c and the head p72-1 is this a type r head ?

It's strange that it happened, no warning or knocking. Just went bang on the 2nd stage.

John, I'm not far from ballyjamesduff. Going to take the head off on Saturday and see whats it's like. Seen an complete engine on donedeal but I can't hear it running , it's at the right money but.

I have an eg6 track car with a standard b18c. Unfortunately I managed to put a conrod threw the block while racing. I don't have it that long and am new to Hondas. What's my best option? I'm in cavan.
